Earshot to Release Their First Full-Length Album in 18 Years, Tour Dates Incoming


2000s Alternative Metal band Earshot will release a brand new album in 2025, produced by Johnny K (Disturbed, Sevendust). The band posted to their social media about the as-yet-unreleased album that it is their first full-length album in 18 Years and is “poised to be their best album yet!” Earshot has at least three tour dates booked this spring and Northwoods Rock Rally Festival this summer. The band has released three albums including their big charting hits Letting Go (2002), Two (2004), The Silver Lining (2008), and the Aftermath EP (2015). Continue reading

Jason Slater of Third Eye Blind and Snake River Conspiracy Has Died, Aged 49


Sad news to report that former Third Eye Blind bassist and Snake River Conspiracy founder Jason Slater has died, according to TMZ and Blabbermouth.net. His daughter, Alyssa Carlson, told the site the 49-year-old musician and producer passed away on December 9th, from liver failure at a hospital in Maui, Hawaii. Apparently, he kept this a secret from his family until recently. Slater formed put Snake River conspiracy in the Bay Area in 1999 with singer Tobey Torres and released an EP, a full-length Sonic Jihad (Reprise Records), and four singles. He put the band on hiatus when his producing career took off, producing four albums Queensrÿche including Operation Mindcrime II, and albums by Earshot, Enemy, and Slaves on Dope.
