Duff McKagan Nears Completion Of New Solo Album, Shooter Jennings Producing
Rock legend Duff McKagan, who has released new music with both Guns N Roses and Walking Papers this year is putting the finishing touches on his next solo album. Produced by Shooter Jennings, the two worked out of Station House studios in Echo Park, CA, in-between McKagan’s tour with GNR and the release of Jennings’ eponymous album, Shooter. Guns N’ Roses Forced To Cut Short Abu Dhabi Concert After Axl Rose Falls Ill
Guns N Roses performed for the first time in the United Arab Emirates Sunday night (November 25), a highly-anticipated concert event in the city of Abu Dhabi and an expected highlight of the nearly three-year-long “Not in This Lifetime Tour”. Sadly, the band cut their set short, after singer W. Axl Rose performed ill most of the night and ultimately couldn’t finish the show. He actually told the crowd he was ill and apologized a few times including “They’ve got me on IVs and a bunch of injections, ’cause I got sick today, I’ve been throwing up for about the last five hours. So, instead of canceling, I’m gonna do the best show we can for you.”
The band issued apologies after the show, but fans who waited years to see them were understandably upset. Continue reading

Guns N’ Roses has booked a tour of Asia for this fall, continuing the wildly successful “Not In This Lifetime” Tour. The seven-date tour kicks off on November 8th in Jakarta, Indonesia, will include the band’s first-ever visit to Manila, Philippines, as well as stops in Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi. Modern rock band Walking Papers has been selected as the direct support for the upcoming US headline tour from Alice In Chains. The band famously features Duff McKagan (Guns n Roses) and Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees, Mad Season) but due to prior commitments, neither member can join the tour.
