Heavy music legend Justin K. Broadrick, best known for Godflesh, has surprised released a brand new album under his JK Flesh project – Sewer Bait, via label Pressure Records. Justin will perform at Damnation Festival this weekend with Godflesh, performing his classic Streetcleaner album in full, for the first time in the UK.
Damnation Festival, the long-running extreme underground one-dayer in the UK, takes place once again at Leeds University for the 13th edition. Damnation Festival has closed the loop on the band lineup announcements for 2018, with the addition of Cancer, Monuments, Bong, Vola, Hundred Year Old Man, and Lik. Lik is a supergroup featuring members of Bloodbath and Katatonia. 2018 marks the 14th installment of the festival, hosted by Leeds University Union on Saturday, November 3. Tickets are on sale now. Ihsahn, who will see the release of his new album this week, has been announced as the first headliner for Damnation Festival 2018, set to take place this November in Leeds, UK. Batushka, The Ocean, and Fukpig has also been named with twenty-three more bands to be added in the coming months.
