Chart-topping Occult Rock band Ghost has shared a new trailer in their ongoing series of teasers promoting Prequelle (Loma Vista Recordings). The clip stars Cardinal Copia, Sister Imperator, and Papa Nihil, and also has a very Kubrick-ian feel, with nods to classic Stephen King book and film The Shining. These clips continue to hint at a return of Papa Emeritus character at some point in the future. In a new interview, Ghost frontman Tobias Forge claims it’s “likely” that the Cardinal Copia persona will return for their next album. The band has previously teased in social media and interviews that the Papa Emeritus character would return someday. Asked by Australia’s The Music podcast, and transcribed by Blabbermouth.net, Forge said: “I have a vague idea of what’s in store.
