Seattle rockers, Candlebox have unveiled A Little Longer Goodbye (Tour Edition), the digital deluxe version of their album The Long Goodbye. It has been released across all DSPs, via Round Hill Records, and features the 12 original album tracks, plus two bonus live songs, “Elegante” and “Cellphone Jesus” (recorded at Club Amanda, Santiago, Chile, October 27, 2023), and the single “Washed Up.” The band are also on tour in North America with Bush and Jerry Cantrell from July 26th. Seattle-based multi-platinum rock band Candlebox has announced its new album, their seventh, Wolves, via Pavement Entertainment. This album is the follow-up to the 2016 album Disappearing In Airports. Lead singer Kevin Martin says, “It comes from where we are as humans right now, and what we’ve become. Ghost Cult’s Keefy caught up recently with Kevin Martin, the mastermind and leader of long-running rockers Candlebox for an interview. The band was on tour in Europe, supporting the 25th anniversary of their multi-platinum, classic self-titled debut album. The band was also promoting their current album, the excellent Disappearing in Airports. In a candid chat, Kevin looked back at the bands’ history, his memories of the early years of the band, performing at Woodstock `94, the ups and downs of the music industry, making new music, the trajectory of the next Candlebox album, and what the future of Kevin’s music career looks like a few more years down the road.
