Metallica shared their 2016 show at House of Vans London as part of their weekly concert series #MetallicaMondays. It was their record release show for Hardwired… To Self Destruct (Blackened Records). The band will continue to host simultaneous fundraisers benefiting All Within My Hands every Monday for the time being. During the first two shows alone, fans raised tens of 1000s of dollars. Generous donations like these help AWMH provide grants like those announced last week to Feeding America, Direct Relief, Crew Nation, and the USBG National Charity Foundation in support of COVID-19 relief efforts. Metallica Continues #MetallicaModays with Munich Concert Tonight!

Metallica continues their live streaming concert series #MetallicaMondays tonight with their show Live in Munich – May 31, 2015, to see the guys take the stage at Olympiapark München with a set full of deep cuts. Streaming starts at 5 PM PDT / 8 PM EDT on YouTube and Facebook, but don’t worry if you can’t make it. The show will be on demand for you to enjoy all week! Fans have helped the band already raised $35,000 via their charity organization AWMH provide grants like those announced earlier this month to Feeding America, Direct Relief, Crew Nation, and the USBG National Charity Foundation in support of COVID-19 relief efforts. “Metallica Mondays” Continue Tonight With Outside Lands 2017 Concert Stream and Charity Drive

So far, Metallica’s MetallicaMondays streaming concert series has not only been a hit with fans, it has enabled the band to raise over $25,000 in the first three weeks of concerts. Streaming on both the bands’ Facebook and YouTube accounts, tonight will feature their legendary 2017 headline concert at their Hometown Outside Lands Festival, celebrating today’s 150th anniversary of San Francisco’s beloved Golden Gate Park! You may have caught a tease of the show last weekend when three songs streamed during GoldenGatePark150.com’s virtual classic concert series, conducted in celebration of our beloved hometown landmark. Tonight we’ll be streaming the complete set. Streaming starts at 5 PM PDT / 8 PM EDT, but don’t worry if you can’t make it. The show will be on demand for you to enjoy all week! Groundbreaking Metallica Scholars Initiative Enters its Second Year

After year one the Metallica Scholars Initiative with exceptional results including job placement rates exceeding 90%, the legendary Thrash and Heavy Metal has confirmed a second year of its support of community colleges and their career and technical education programs — featuring the expansion of the program from 10 to 15 schools, as well as the addition of matching grants from new partners. The Metallica Scholars Initiative was created in 2019 through a partnership between Metallica ‘s All Within My Hands foundation (AWMH) and the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), a Washington, D.C. based organization representing the country’s more than 1,000 community colleges. 10 colleges from communities that had supported Metallica during its recent U.S. tours were selected via a competitive application process, each receiving $100,000 toward programs designed to support students training to enter the American workforce. Metallica has shared a video recapping their Second Annual “All Within My Hands Day of Service” for their charitable foundation All Within My Hands. The second-ever Day Of Service enlisted more than 3,000 volunteers to spend a day working at local food banks across the U.S. More than 50 food banks participated in this year’s activities — more than twice as many as last year — and each registered volunteer received a special All Within My Hands T-shirt commemorating the united Day Of Service.Continue reading →

Metallica To Head All Within My Hands Charity Show With Cage the Elephant

Metallica launched their All Within My Hands Foundation 501(c)3 non-profit foundation focused on creating sustainable communities by tackling the issues of hunger and workforce education and encouraging volunteerism in 2017. The band has held successful auctions and events for charity, including their first annual Day Of Service earlier this year. Now they will host the All Within My Hands Foundation Helping Hands Concert And Auction on November 3 at the Masonic in San Francisco. This very special evening will provide a unique opportunity to learn about the organizations Metallica and AWMH support, to bid on one-of-a-kind auction items, and to experience a rare acoustic Metallica show. Cage the Elephant will also participate and perform unplugged. The two bands last performed together before SuperBowl 50 in Minneapolis.
