Dream Theater Rebooks “The Top Of The World Tour” Dates
On the heels of releasing their new album A View From The Top Of The World (InsideOut Music, read our review here) progressive metal legends Dream Theater have rescheduled dates for the tour. The dates will now kick off in Mesa, AZ on February 2nd and run 7 weeks before ending in Austin, TX on March 21st. The tour will also make stops in Los Angeles, CA; Quebec, QC; New York, NY and Dallas, TX among others and will mark the first live performances of music from the band’s latest release A View From The Top Of The World. Arch Echo will be the opener on all dates in the United States and Falset will be the opener on all of the dates in Canada. Dream Theater Shares New Music Video for “Invisible Monster” – New Album Incoming
Dream Theater has shared a new music video for the track single “Invisible Monster.” The song comes from their upcoming new album A View From The Top Of The World, due out via InsideOutMusic / Sony Music on October 22nd, 2021. The video for the song was directed by William “Wombat” Felch (Mudvayne, HellYeah, Crobot, Static-X, Nefariant) and follows the story of an artist’s internal struggles as the band is showcased performing the track. The piece of art created by Felch in the video now lives inside DTHQ. Watch it here:
Dream Theater Announces their New Album “A View From The Top Of The World”
After much teasing on social media, Progressive Metal legends Dream Theater has announced their new album, their 15th, dubbed A View From The Top Of The World, due out on October 22nd, 2021 via InsideOut Music. The album is composed of seven-songs with artwork created by long-time cover collaborator Hugh Syme (Rush, Iron Maiden, Stone Sour). A View From The Top Of The World was produced by John Petrucci, engineered and additional production by James “Jimmy T” Meslin, and mixed/mastered by Andy Sneap.
