The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced their nominees for induction in 2023. Iron Maiden, The White Stripes, Rage Against The Machine, Soundgarden, Joy Division/New Order, Kate Bush, Willie Nelson, A Tribe Called Quest, George Michael, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, Cyndi Lauper, The Spinners, and Warren Zevon are all nominated. The fan vote is now open at the link below.
Rage Against the Machine, Judas Priest, New York Dolls, Eminem, Beck, Pat Benatar, MC5, and many more among the nominees for the class of 2022 of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Seventeen acts have been nominated with seven on the ballot for the very first time: Eminem, Beck, Duran Duran, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Carly Simon, and A Tribe Called Quest. Eminem is in his first year of eligibility for rapper. The fan voting is also open as of today on the Rock Hall’s website, but only counts for a tiny portion of the final talley and not really a factor in who is voted in.
Cult Of Luna, Neurosis, and Trap Them have joined the eclectic lineup of one of the world’s most important music festivals, Roskilde. Taking place June 24th – July first, in Roskilde, Denmark, and boasts over 175 bands on 9 stages.
