Supergroup Powerflo With Cypress Hill, Biohazard, Fear Factory, And Downset Members Has New Music Coming Soon

In a series of posts on social media, Hip-Hop and Metal supergroup Powerflo had their coming out party at last week’s Grammy Awards show. With members hailing from Cypress Hill, Biohazard, Fear Factory, and Downset, as three of the members walked the Red Carpet at the show.

Previously announced last fall, Powerflo features rapper Sen Dog of Cypress Hill/Sen X 10, with Billy Graziadei of Biohazard/Suicide City, former Fear Factory bassist/guitarist Christian Olde Wolbers, Rogelio Lozano from Downset, and Brazilian drummer Fernando Schaefer of the band Worst. Blending rap, metal, hardcore and more, the band has recorded at Graziadei’s Firewater Studios and also NRG studios in Los Angeles. They have also recorded 14 songs and have promised music, artwork, and a release date in March, with the release due on New Damage Records.

In an appearance on Doc Coyle‘s podcast The Ex-Man, Olde-Wohlbers commented on his involvement in the group and a possible tour with Prophets of Rage, which features Sen Dog’s Cypress Hill colleague B-Real. Barring a Fear Factory classic line-up reunion, Olde-Wohlbers expects to be involved with Powerflo and on tour in 2017. Graziadei had been working on a new Biohazard release for 2017 until the departure of bassist/vocalist Scott Roberts. Lozano has played some recent Downset reunion shows.
