The pinnacle of underground music festivals, Roadburn has released its first wave of bands. Owning up to their vaunted reputation the fest has named acclaimed acts such as headliners Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Converge, Einar Selvik & Ivar Bjørnson
performing Hugsjá for the first time outside of Norway, Bell Witch, Panopticon and more. Converge frontman Jacob Bannon has been named Festival Curator, and Converge will play two sets, one being You Fail Me (Deathwish Inc.) in full!
Other bands announced are Ex Eye, The Heads, Igorrr, Aerial Ruin, and Sangre De Muerdago. Many more to come in the next few months.
Tickets Will Go On Sale On October 19, at the 013 venue, Tilburg, NL between April 19-22. The event is often sold out well in advance. Roadburn’s official poster artist for 2018 is Richey Beckett.
