Riot Fest 2025 Unveils RiotLand, Riotober Fest, John Stamos Look-Alike Contest, Riot Feast, and a Feast of Surprises for Its 20th Anniversary


For its 20th anniversary, Riot Fest isn’t just throwing a music festival—it’s building a world. Enter RiotLand, an immersive celebration of independent spirit and two decades of unforgettable festival history. Fans can explore immersive attractions including: –

Butter Stamos — a statue that fuses Apollonian strength with the sheer resiliency of butter.

Riotoberfest — new this year with Goose Island, tapping exclusive drafts like Riotober Fest, Riot Feast Sucks, and Wurst Riot.

The Wedding Chapel — hosting more than 30 marriages over the weekend.

Billy Corgan’s NWA Wrestling — where zero meets gravity in the squared circle.

Quick Stop Groceries — a fully functional recreation of the Quick Stop from Clerks.

Moe’s Tavern — pouring the one-of-a-kind Flaming Moe, a cocktail collab of Chicago’s Malört and Riot Slop’s Purple Nurple.

The Riot Fest Historical Society — featuring a Fireside Bowl recreation and 20 years of Riot Fest artifacts curated by the fest office staff.

Field Museum — featuring actual scientists with real dinosaur fossils and a temporary tattoo station inspired by those fossils.

Logan Arcade — where a pinball wizard and a button-masher unite, curated by Chicago’s finest arcade junkie.

Q101 Radio Tower — broadcasting live so even people stuck at Costco know you’re having more fun.

Mosh Mart — an expanded convenience store for snacks, drinks, and exclusive merch.

Poople — sponsored by regret, powered by the Stamos Supreme. …and plenty more mischief still under wraps.

John Stamos Look-A-like Contest For the ones who believe they have the hair, the charm and a bit of audacity, step up for the John Stamos Look-Alike Contest, happening on Saturday, September 20 at 3pm inside of RiotLand. Contestants will battle it out for bragging rights, eternal glory and maybe a free Stamos Pizza.

Riot Feast Returns Back by hungry demand, Riot Feast is resurrected after its sold-out 2017 run in Wicker Park. This year’s pop-up partners with Sazon Cubano (2252 N. Western Ave, Chicago) for a menu that reimagines state fair classics with the irreverent humor only Riot Fest can serve. Full menu and images here

Chicago’s Best on the Menu Festivalgoers won’t leave hungry thanks to a stacked lineup of local food vendors: Big Star, Publican, Billy Goat Tavern, Harold’s Chicken, Pasta Fasta, Island Noodles, Café Tola, Table to Stix Ramen, and Bacci Pizza, and many more. Vegan and vegetarian options will be plentiful, including a Stamos Pizza collab with Bacci Pizza.
