As we told you earlier this week, Rammstein confirmed that their “Rammstein: Paris” documentary will be coming in 2017. The film is a 98-minute cinema version of their concerts that were filmed in March of 2012 during the band’s “Made In Germany” tour in Bercy, and as you can see in the trailer below, it’s going to be huge. So huge that Rammstein will be screening the documentary in theaters across the globe.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Rammstein: Paris” has been picked up for worldwide rights (excluding Germany, Austria and Switzerland) by Picturehouse Entertainment, and they plan to screen the film in around 350 cinemas internationally, including in the U.S. on March 23rd.
Marc Allenby, director of distribution at Picturehouse Entertainment, had this to say: “Over the last two decades, Rammstein have become one of the world’s biggest rock outfits, and together with Jonas Åkerlund, they have created a unique and thrilling cinematic experience.”
Rammstein will announce more details on the upcoming documentary, as well as the theatrical screenings soon, so stay tuned!
