Peter “Mean Pete” Kowalsky of Ether Coven and Remembering Never Has Died

Sad news as Hardcore and Metal legend and guitarist and vocalist Peter Kowalsky has died, as reported by Lambgoat.com. He finally succumbed to cancer after a multiple-year battle with the disease. Famous for his times leading bands such as Remembering Never, Ether Coven, xBishopx and more, he was known as “Mean Pete” but long respected for his kindness and brutal honesty in the scene, Peter made an impact in several bands. He consistently made heartfelt and great music. A passional animal rights activist, he raised tons of money and awareness for that cause, and many others. A friend and supporter of Ghost Cult, we met many times over the years, interviewed Peter several times and he was always humble and gracious with his time and knowledge. RIP.
