Progressive metalcore band Mire has released its second album, Pale Reflection, out now, alongside the video for the new single “The Master.” Watch it now and grab the digipak CD, digital album, or t-shirt via Bandcamp.

Mire was founded by guitarists Nick Hipa, formerly of As I Lay Dying, and Ryan Glisan, formerly of Allegaeon, with the shared goal of creating riff-focused music free from stylistic restraint. Pale Reflection is the band’s second album and features Benton McKibben on vocals, JP Andrade on drums, and the founding guitar duo.

The record was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Grant McFarland and Carson Slovak at Atrium Audio in Lititz, Pennsylvania, with additional engineering by Glisan and Hipa. The accompanying music video was directed and edited by Hipa.

The band operates on a purposefully independent basis, handling their own production, promotion, and web presence without label support. Pale Reflection follows their 2018 debut A New Found Rain, which featured singles “Refined” and “Inside.”
