Metallica Tops 2017 “Hard Rock Album Artists” And “Hard Rock Albums” Charts On Billboard


Metallica‘s Hardwired… to Self-Destruct came out last November, but it didn’t stop the record from topping the ‘Hard Rock Albums’ chart for 2017, which helped make the band #1 on the ‘Hard Rock Album Artists’ chart as well. The band’s tenth studio album sold 1.1 million units in the 2017 chart year to give them the #1 spot, and funny enough, the “Black Album” took home the #2 spot by shifting 268,000 units.
