Marilyn Manson is expected to release his tenth studio album, SAY10, sometime in February of 2017, but the video for the title track has made it’s way online, and it’s one you must see. The NFSW video, directed and conceptualized by Tyler Shields, shows Marilyn Manson seated on his throne, and then in a lightning-fast montage, he starts tearing out pages of The Bible, and then beheads a man in a dark suit that strongly resembles Donald Trump. When asked about the video, Marilyn Manson told The Daily Beast this, “It’s about the desperate acts of people who believe something that is preached by an unbeliever. Right now we’re in such a state of confusion when it comes to religion, politics, sexuality, and how they all tie together, and it’s being turned into a circus and a sideshow—and that’s something that I’ve been described as a ringleader of. It seems like a time for me as an artist, and as an American artist, to make something that causes a new set of questions to arise that aren’t simply statements.”
