Before his untimely death last May, Chris Cornell was among many artists chosen to appear in “Johnny Cash: Forever Words.” The collection, which was orchestrated by John Carter Cash, presents several musicians putting the words of Johnny Cash‘s unknown poems, lyrics and letters to music. Chris Cornell‘s track, “You Never Knew My Mind”, combines a track Johnny Cash wrote in 1967 entitled, “You Never Knew My Mind”, with another unreleased song, “I Never Knew Your Mind”.
