US hardcore mob, Lionheart, are gearing up for the January 9 release of their new album, Valley of Death II, on Arising Empire records. They have already dropped the record’s first single, “Bulletproof,” along with its official music video. Watch it in the article below.

The California metallic hardcore titans are serving up a sequel to their 2019 album Valley of Death (which gave listeners “Rock Bottom” and “Born Feet First”), that is heavier, darker, and even more unrelenting. The sequel is just as epic as the original. Lionheart has carved out their spot in modern hardcore due to their pure aggression, anthemic gang-shouts and a swagger that could only come from the West Coast. Their upcoming sound is groove-heavy, yet razor-sharp, as previewed in “Bulletproof.”

The Oakland five-piece recently re-signed with Arising Empire, and are due to release their next single, “Roll Out,” on Friday 11/28. It’s sure to channel more of their California swagger with the teaser (https://www.instagram.com/reel/DRcdyT9CV6_/) set near an In-N-Out Burger. They also return to Europe on tour in January alongside Madball, Gideon, and Slope.
