As we learned earlier this week, Metallica will be performing with Lady Gaga at the 59th annual Grammy Awards this Sunday. How did this collaboration come about? In a new interview with Apple(listen below), Lady Gaga said “she was hanging out at Bradley Cooper’s house with Lars, and it just kind of came up.” She went on to add that she recently went to see Metallica live, and said “I’ve seen them a couple of times live, but I saw them live recently, and we were watching the show and I’ll tell you something, those guys play better than they’ve ever played in their whole lives.”
