In his first interview since he unexpectedly departed from the band’s North American tour back in December, Ivan Moody told The Morning Show on KBPI Rocks that he will be leaving Five Finger Death Punch. Here’s what he said to host Willie B, “To be completely honest with you, Death Punch and I have kind of come to a crossroads. We’re very proud of what we’ve done – years and years and years of work… It’s time for us to take our way and go do something else, so after this year… my new band, Villain… I’m so excited.”
Rock Feed reports that Ivan will remain with the group through the end of 2017, meaning the band’s upcoming tour dates will be unaffected.
As of now, the band has not released an official statement. Stay tuned.
