My Favorite Concert Memory: James Hall of Fine Creatures

Buzz band British rockers Fine Creatures are releasing their debut EP, Electric La La Land this Friday, July 27th via Symptom Records. Combining slick pop licks and infections rock sounds, this band is poised to make waves this year. We caught up with frontman James Hall to hear about his Favorite Concert Memory before he was in a band.

My favourite concert memory I’ve ever had was when I was about 10 years old. I went to see Green Day at The Milton Keynes Bowl in 2005. After being a huge fan of their album American Idiot that came out in 2004, I was so excited. I still have vivid memories from that show. I think overall the way Billie Joe commanded the stage, intimidated and inspired me at the same time. I think it was the fact, I was a really self-conscious kid with little confidence but when I discovered music and performing live, I realised that I could be whoever I wanted to be on stage. Green Day were one of those bands that made me realise that. The show was filmed for their dvd, “Bullet In A Bible”. they put out the same year. It was one of those iconic shows in my life that meant something at a young age, and has done since.”

Fine Creatures Electric La La Land was engineered by producer Dan Austin (Doves, SLØTFACE, Mallory Knox, Young Legionnaire) at Eve Studios, Stockport / Real World, Bath.
