For the third year in a row, Ghost Cult is co-sponsoring a charity concert to benefit those less fortunate, using the power of heavy metal music to raise money for those less fortunate. This years’ event features two New England-based fundraising groups joining together for the common good: The Big 4 Charity Tribute Concert Series and Metal For Nepal Boston. The two day event features top flight musicians from all the Boston area and all over the country, and a deep raffle of incredible prizes. Details below.
The Big 4 Charity Tribute Concert Series is in its second year and supports MusicDrivesUs.org a registered 501(c)(3), New England nonprofit organization supplying grants to music programs designed to effect positive change for people of all ages. We seek out organizations and individuals interested in using music as a tool to better the lives of people in all segments of society.
Metal For Nepal Boston is a group dedicated to raising donations and awareness of the plight of Nepal and its people following the devastating 7.8 earthquake of April 25th, 2015, and subsequent natural disasters that have devastated their nation.
Big 4 Charity Tribute was a big success so it has been revived for a second year! Local supergroups covering 8 of the biggest metal bands ever for charity! This year it is Britain vs America, the Revolutionary War of the Big 4 from each country! All ticket and raffle sales go 100%to support the plights of these organizations.
