Festival season is just around the corner, and what better way is there to start the summer than with Temples Festival? Launched in 2013, Temples is an independent music festival based in Bristol. The event will take place from 29th – 31st May at the historic venue Motion.
Brighton-based punk band Teef are opening the festival, and they are sure to warm up the crowd for three solid days of heavy music. With three different stages there is definitely something for every metal fan to enjoy, with bands such as Today Is The Day, Will Haven and Bongzilla all perfoming throughout the day. Main stage headliners Converge are sure to end the first day with a bang, and it is safe to say that their set will be a highlight of the weekend.
Manchester quartet Caïna are kicking off the Saturday, providing the Bristol crowd with heavy riffs to help with their hangovers! Torche, Mantar and Svalbard have also been added to the line-up, proving that Temples Festival is not for the fainthearted. Sunn O))) will be rounding off the second day of live music, and with such an extensive back catalogue it will be interesting to see exactly what is on their setlist!
Sunday is the final day of live music, and Anta will be ensuring that the day starts with energetic and fast-paced music. Music fans will be spoiled for choice with so many incredible bands on the line-up, such as The King Is Blind, Krokodil and Goatwhore. Main stage headliners Earth will be arriving into Bristol from Seattle, so it is safe to say that they will want to make the night one to remember.
