“Forsaken’s concept is a direct commentary on the current status quo of rich versus poor throughout the world today. Those who control the vast majority of the wealth make decisions for those who are struggling to figure out how to keep the lights on, leaving them no time to inform themselves on political policies. No one party is innocent, the two party system is flawed and in my opinion we are fighting a losing battle so long as people are more focused on providing the next meal for their families.”

The video for ‘Forsaken’ was created by Taigan Harris at Bleeding Art Collective and captures the anger and intent of the song while also highlighting the art for the upcoming EP. ‘Misery’ was mixed by Cody Stewart, with additional mixing and mastering by the legendary Christian Donaldson, guitarist with Cryptopsy, and the man behind crushers from INGESTED, Despised Icon, Shadow Of Intent and Suffocation.

My Own Will is a death metal driven hardcore act from Southeastern Michigan, USA. The band has shared the stage with absolute titans such as Hatebreed, Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Suffocation, Bodysnatcher and Left To Suffer, as well as performing on events such as Michigan Metal Fest and Blue Ridge Rock Fest.
The band’s debut album Left To The Flies is a crushing example of the heft and groove that this band delivers live. The album saw three tracks featured on Spotify’s prestigious Deathcore and Metalcore playlist pushing their brand of deathcore to thousands of new listeners.
