Dead Original is a new hard rock trio from Chicago, that features in its ranks frontman Paul Wandtke who got his start in the music industry as a drummer for hire with Trivium, Kill Hannah, and even the hit musical Rock of Ages. Now leading his own group the band, which also includes Sean McCole on drums and Mike Petrasek (Bedlem) on bass, has a post-Grunge sound mixed with some proggier moods. “I think ‘Let It Burn’ is just another example from our debut full length that showcases our own original sound and vibe! I only bring this up because lot’s of people that have checked us out (esp on youtube) have been comparing us to Nirvana because of my vocal “tone” and “delivery” but just because we are heavily influenced by the 90’s grunge movement does not mean we are trying to be Nirvana 2.0. We hope people will dig this single.”
