Long-running California Thrash metallers Psychosomatic will release their new album, their seventh The Invisible Prison, through Nefarious Industries, this Friday August 28th. The band has always funneled their old-school thrash influences through a centrifuge of other genre nods, without losing their unique sound.  After the band premiered their last single “Fortune Dealer” features guest vocals by David Sanchez of Havok at Revolver, the band has partnered with us for the full album stream!  Bassist/vocalist Jeff Salgado commented:

“This music on this record was a collective effort by the entire band as well as Dave’s input.  We’re really excited about this album and ironically had no intention of the lyrical topics being so relevant to the events going around the world this year. Once everything is opened up we hope to be touring hard!”

David Sanchez proclaims, “I had a blast making The Invisible Prison with the PSYCHOSOMATIC guys. I drove from Colorado to California with a loaded car and we built a makeshift studio in their rehearsal room. In the middle of tracking, they asked me to do vocals on ‘Fortune Dealer’ and I was happy to do ’em. It’s always fun to scream my head off, but especially when it’s with a band I love. This whole record rips and I’m honored to have been a part of it.”

The Invisible Prison album was produced, engineered, and mixed by David Sanchez (Havok) at Riffs Or Die Recordings, mastered by Mark Lewis (Chimaira, Trivium, The Black Dahlia Murder) at MRL Studios, and completed with art by Jeff Salgado, coloring by Vincent Pizarro, layout by Greg Meisenberg, and photography by Michael Alvarez.

The Invisible Prison will see release via Nefarious Industries on LP, CD, and all digital platforms on August 28th.
