Correct Answer: b).

In the space provided, present a brief description of each song.

Examiners Note: Anything along the following lines will be acceptable:

“Galba” begins with a cinematic intro and narrated explanation before exploding into a surging mid-paced riff led by Mauricio Iacono’s (Kataklysm) brutal roars. Powerful orchestrations support the song’s quieter and more dramatic moments and bolster the song’s Amon Amarth-style heavier sections.

“Otho” continues the overarching story of how in AD69, Rome saw the rise of four emperors and the fall of three with a slightly more uplifting and melodic feel but with no shortage of power or heaviness.

“Vitellius.” Opening with crushingly heavy Gojira-style bent notes, the song is a slow chug underpinned by subtle orchestrations, a melody not too far from TV show Westworld, and a little more narrative exposition.

“Vespasian” concludes the EP with even more irresistible rhythms packed with pure cinematic drama and some particularly savage vocals from Iacono.

Q3. Science
