Entheos drops the video for new single “Undone,” the latest preview of their upcoming album Empty on the Inside, out October 23 via Metal Blade Records, and announces a special record release show in Nashville. Watch it now and pre-order below.

“Undone” serves as the definitive centerpiece of Empty on the Inside, channeling an industrial sound the band has long wanted to explore. Vocalist Chaney Crabb explains: “‘Undone’ is a dark, visceral song that’s about the confrontation of the guilt that you’ve become the person you always feared you’d be. It’s the grief of realizing that you cannot turn back time and change the things you’ve destroyed. Lyrically, it’s incredibly raw and we feel that musically, it matches the lyrical content perfectly. We’ve wanted to experiment with more of an industrial sound for a long time and writing this song came incredibly naturally to us. Though it may be one that surprises people who listen to our band, it’s one of the most ‘true to ourselves’ songs we’ve ever written. We can’t wait to expand even more in this sonic territory.”
The band describes the album as a whole: “The album is about losing yourself in darkness, confronting that hopelessness and wondering if there’s any way back to being the person you used to be.”
Empty on the Inside is the most ambitious and fully realized album of Entheos‘ career. Featuring Crabb (voice actress for Jill Valentine in Dead by Daylight Chapter 20:Resident Evil) alongside multi-instrumentalist Navene Koperweis of ex-Animals as Leaders and Animosity, guitarists Scott Carstairs of Fallujah and Michael Stancel of Allegaeon, the record captures the band at their most collaborative and creatively unified. Produced by Mark Lewis, known for his work with The Black Dahlia Murder, Fallujah, and Whitechapel, and mastered by Justin Sturtz at Sterling Sound, with artwork by Zac Shiffer of Nine Inch Nails, Behemoth, and Soundgarden fame.
The album arrives on CD in a jewel case, digitally, and on LP in a gatefold jacket with multiple limited color variants, including Bloodlust Red, Grey with Black Splatter, and Neon Green, with European variants also available. Entheos follows their North American tour with Jinjer with a special record release show on October 23 at The ’58 at Eastside Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee, with support from Knoll, Dissonation, and Vaelravyn. More live dates to be announced.
