9. Mastodon + Lamb of God – “Floods of Triton”
An awesome release by a monster of a band. So sick to see them and Lamb of God collaborate to create this banger.
8. Nails – Every Bridge Burning
Also a sick record by a sick ass band. Can’t wait to share the stage and hear these songs live at Welcome to Rockville.
7. Final Resting Place – Prelude To Extinction
Not much to say…besides this EP is fucking sick.
6. The Garden – Six Desperate Ballads
A really good EP by a really good band. We were stoked to get a new release from them this year.
5. Peeling Flesh – The G Code
This whole record is a banger. We are all slamaholics, so getting some new PF in 2024 was great!
4. Twitching Tongues – Twitchfits Vol.2
WE LOVE TWICHFITS!!! Twitchfits Vol.1 was already cool enough, but getting a Vol.2?? We were so happy to get the best Misfits covers by a super sick band in 2024.
3. Speed – ONLY ONE MODE
A flute..in metal? Awesome! We loved the creativity in this record — still holding onto that hardcore sound, meanwhile experimenting with new sounds.
2. Kublai Khan TX – Exhibition of Prowess
A really good release by a super powerful band. Heavy riffs and crazy breakdowns.
1. Knocked Loose – You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To
Overall, our favorite record of the year. Seeing them perform it live sealed its number one spot.
