NJ/NY death metal pioneers, Deteriorot, are gearing up for the release of their fourth full-length, Awakening. The album is due  out October 21, via Xtreem Music records, on CD, LP, cassette, and digital formats. The band recently shared the first advance single, “Winter Moon.” Catch it below and read more.

Formed in 1989, Deteriorot stood shoulder to shoulder with early U.S. death metal legends like Immolation, Incantation, and Mortician, carving their place in underground history with a sound that merges the suffocating atmosphere of early Finnish and UK death metal with the brutality of the Swedish scene and the raw, uncompromising intensity of their NJ/NY roots.
