Deathstorm Premiere New Track “Mount Eerie”

Austrian deathrashers Deathstorm have premiered a new track, “Mount Eerie,”  the second singe off their fifth album, Cascophonies, out May 22nd via Dying Victims Productions. Stream it now.

Pre-Orders here.

Deathstorm has been flying the flag of hate since 2010, releasing records on I Hate and High Roller before delivering The Gallows EP to Dying Victims in 2015 and the full-length For Dread Shall Reign in 2020. A quiet demo, Swarming, surfaced in 2022, and then silence. But Cascophonies, their long-awaited fifth album, answers the question definitively, the Deathstorm still rages.

The spectre of classic Kreator looms large as ever over the band’s deathtrash assault, but Cascophonies brings a whole host of new ideas as twisted as the album’s title suggests. At a lean twenty-nine minutes, the record tears through myriad corridors, moments of pure hyperspeed ferocity sit alongside hooks, heavy metal leads, moshes, and marches, with tempos that accelerate and brake on a dime. The production is organically clear yet razor sharp, giving the riffing maximum bite throughout.
