Athens warmly welcomed Nordic Dark Folk band Nytt Land! 

Siberian artists Nytt Land made a mystical stop in Athens Greece as part of their Torem Tour, also the name of their latest album release by Napalm Records in 2023.  

If you are fans of such bands as Heilung and Wardruna, you will certainly be found at one of these shows as well. Fans came in beautiful costumes and make up prepared to experience the authentic traditional thread singing and use of traditional instruments Kantele and the Talharpa, infused with the sounds of Siberian nature.

Performers Anatoly “Nordman” Pakhalenko and Natasha “Krauka” Pakhalenko sang songs from the album Torem (which means “Great Sky”)  in the old Khanty languages (native Siberian tribe) and Old Scandinavian (Old Icelandic) which was beautifully received by the Athenian crowd that night.
