Kamelot Book European and UK “Awaken The World” Tour Dates with Ad Infinitum and Frozen Crown
Symphonic metal icons, Kamelot, have announced they will bring their Awaken the World tour to Europe this October. The multinational band, founded and led by guitarist Thomas Youngblood, have added new dates in 17 cities across 11 countries. They will be accompanied by special guests, Ad Infinitum and Frozen Crown – both Napalm Records labelmates – as well as bonus support act Blackbriar. Fever 333 Drop New Single “Ready Rock” Teasing Upcoming Album
Fever 333 have released their new single, “Ready Rock,” to tie in with Black History Month. The track pays homage to black artists of the past that unequivocally built rock n’ roll into what it is today, with the assertion, “rock music is black music.” “Ready Rock” is the first taste of the band’s 2nd studio album set to arrive later this year, and is their first new music since 2023’s “$wing” single. PVRIS Drops New Single “Burn The Witch” Featuring Tommy Genesis and Alice Longyu-Gao
Collaborating with Canadian rapper, Tommy Genesis, and experimental DJ/producer/vocalist Alice Longyu-Gao, as well as the track’s co-writer, Kanner, PVRIS have released their first song of the year, “Burn The Witch.” The track will serve as the lead single to their forthcoming project, which is due this spring via Hopeless Records, and follows up her fourth studio album, Evergreen. Rock and Metal Supergroup G.B.I. (Foo Fighters, Anthrax) to Drop Bad Brains Cover 7-Inch Single for Record Store Day
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has teamed up with Anthrax’s Scott Ian and Charlie Benante as supergroup G.B.I. to record a cover of the Bad Brains’ 1982 classic “The Regulator” and release it this Record Store Day, 2024 on 4/20/24. Grohl stopped into the middle of the sessions for the new Anthrax record and the trio’s love for Old-School Hardcore and Bad Brains led to the cover being done in two takes at Grohl’s Studio 606. The seven-inch single comes complete with cover art by Benante. Proceeds from G.B.I.’s rendition of “The Regulator” will benefit singer Paul “H.R.” Hudson, who has been suffering from an excruciating type of rare head affliction known as SUNCT headaches for the past decade.Continue reading
