English death/hardcore unit, Burner, recently unleashed their new single, “Blood River.”  The track features on the band’s forthcoming album, No One Is Coming to Save Us, slated for release on the 25th of September. Check it out below and find out more.

““Blood River” is about cycles of violence, throughout history and across time: rivers of blood that have flowed before in conflict, and will flow again. That no matter how much a confident warrior might think, there’s nothing you can truly do to stop someone fighting back – and thus, we will always have war, scarring the land and time itself.” – Harry Nott [vocals]

Just in case you missed it, the first single “Sunrise, Parabellum” featuring Matt Heafy of Trivium can be listened to here: https://youtu.be/bKitZivMnnk

Burner possesses the incredible ability to weave death metal, hardcore and fractions of black metal into their calculated disorder. With most bands having palpable influences, Burner impresses further by wearing theirs with a sense of real diversity, touching everything from Trap Them, Darkest Hour, and Gatecreeper to Converge, Bolt Thrower, The Acacia Strain and more.
