Indian Rap Metal and World Music group Bloodywood has been featured in the unlikely smash hit action movie Monkey Man! Directed, co-written, and starring Dev Patel, the biggest fight scene in the movie is backed by the tack “Dana Dana” – one of Bloodywood’s biggest songs. The film also features snippets of other songs such as “Roxanne” by The Police, also Tabla Master Zakir Hussain scored multiple scenes in the movie.  Originally developed at Netflix, Monkey Man was acquired by Universal Films, premiered at South By Southwest in March, and debuted in theaters on April 5th, 2024.
