The seventy-three-minute film chronicles Blood Incantation’s summer 2023 recording sessions at Berlin’s legendary Hansa Studios, documenting their evolution into a boundary-pushing progressive rock-and-metal hybrid. Each screening opens with a twenty-minute theatrical pre-show featuring the band’s multi-part visual odyssey music video for “The Stargate.” Following the film, the band participates in a live broadcast Q&A streamed to all participating theaters, with the band appearing in person at the Alamo Drafthouse Sloans Lake location in Denver, Colorado, their hometown.

Formed in Denver in 2011, Blood Incantation built their reputation blending brutal, old-school technical death metal with cosmic psychedelic space rock and atmospheric ambient music, with lyrical themes orbiting science fiction, metaphysics, ancient alien mythos, and stargates. The documentary and its standalone soundtrack arrived in 2025, giving fans an inside look at the creative process behind one of the most conceptually ambitious bands in underground metal.

Lineup:
Paul Riedl – vocals and guitars
Morris Kolontyrsky – guitars
Jeff Barrett – bass
Isaac Faulk – drums.

The band carries a massive international touring schedule into June and July 2026, hitting major European rock and metal festivals alongside headlining club shows, with select North American festival dates to follow later in the summer and winter.
