Blackbraid Teams Up with Fire In The Mountains for Pre-release Event – New Album Coming Soon

Indigenous black metal artist, Blackbraid, has partnered with the Fire in the Mountains Festival for a pre-release event. Festival attendees will be able to hear the new album, Blackbraid III, ahead of its August 8 release date. A live Q&A will also take place during the listening session. Find out more below.

Blackbraid previously commented on the appearance, “I am very pleased to announce that I have partnered with Fire in the Mountains to curate an exclusive pre-release event for my forthcoming full length ‘Blackbraid III.’ Festival goers will have the opportunity to hear the album in its entirety ahead of its release. Fire in the Mountains will take place in Montana from July 25-27, 2025 at the Red Eagle Campground on the Blackfeet Nation Reserve. Blackbraid joins an esteemed lineup of artists including Wardruna, Old Man’s Child, Chelsea Wolfe, Converge, Blood Incantation, and more.

More details on Blackbraid III will be revealed soon. The captivating album artwork was created in collaboration with Adam Burke, who handled the painting, and mainstay Blackbraid album artist Adrian Baxter, who did the illustration.
