Washington D.C. metalcore veterans Age of Ruin have returned with their new single “Falling,” marking their first new release since last year’s full-length album, Nothingman. Listen to it now.

The song is also available on all major platforms, including Bandcamp, Ampwall, Spotify, and Apple Music.
“Falling” arrives unexpectedly as the first new material from Age of Ruin since their full-length, Nothingman, in 2025. The track sees the band violently reverting to their roots, delivering the punishing, primitive riffs that will feel instantly familiar to fans of Roots-era Sepultura or Damnation A.D.’s Kingdom of Lost Souls.
Age of Ruin is a metalcore band from Fairfax, Virginia, that formed in 1998. Known for a sound blending American hardcore with melodic death metal, they were early pioneers in the scene.
Line-up:
Benjamin Swan – vocals
Christopher Fleming – bass
Daniel Fleming – guitar
Hendrik Osinga – drums
Casey Flanagan – guitar
Their next show is May 7th in Catonsville, MD, supporting The Whiskey & Wreckage Tour with Alborn and Devil’s Cut.
