Patrick comments: “Super proud of this new EP. It’s even heavier and crazier than the first one. The post-apocalypse never sounded so good.”
Louvau adds: “APTK2 sounds more focused, more ferocious, and more pissed off than ever. We took some new roads this time around, and these songs feel more cinematic and serve as a soundtrack to the aftermath of a world that destroyed itself due to greed and betrayal.”
APTK2 follows the duo’s seven-song self-titled debut EP APTK, released in June 2026 to critical praise and attention from SiriusXM Octane and Revolver magazine. The roots of the collaboration stretch back nearly two decades: Louvau first met Patrick in 2008 before a Filter show, and later contributed backing vocals to Filter‘s 2020 track “Murica.” Patrick and Louvau produce and record at a spontaneous pace, generating material so quickly that a second EP follows the debut within months.
Patrick on their chemistry: “When something comes along and it’s really fun and easy to make, that is 90% of the reason why bands break up — because they hit a brick wall creatively. With us, it’s just, like, let’s just keep going until the wheels fall off.”
