If you read the pages of www.GhostCultMag.com or peeped on our many, many social media posts over the years, you have seen the prolific concert photography and reviews of Evil Robb of Evil Robb Photography. He has shot bands, at concerts, photo shoots, and music videos all over the USA for over 25 years. Shooting major bands and in the underground Robb’s most infamous work includes the early days of Pantera, Disturbed, Godsmack, Shinedown, and even more recently Jelly Roll. If you love a band, Evil Robb has most likely captured them with his lens. With two recent catastrophic camera gear losses, he needs some help from the rock and metal community to get new gear asap. Please donate at the link below. If you can!

Hi I’m Robb. Aka Evil Robb of EVIL ROBB Photography. I think most of you reading this know me or have at least seen me at a show or two over the years. I have been working in the New England area for over 25 years. Mainly photographing band’s live performances. I also enjoy photographing landscapes, live events, weddings, models, and much more. This past weekend my camera and lens went down while I was working a gig, and they really went down hard! These last few years photography has been my sole source of income, and I bet you can imagine how vital getting my gear replaced as soon possible is. Unfortunately, I do not have the means to do so. I am in the most straightforward sense of the term…a starving artist. I go without order to give to what I love.
I was hesitant to start a gofundme at all, but I can’t think of any other way at this moment. When the tools you use to earn are broken and you cannot replace them to do your job correctly…you find yourself feeling very limited and helpless. I was grateful when a friend started up a gofundme page in the past when I was in a similar situation, but I was just as hesitant. Mostly because I am not the type of person to ask for help when I need it. I was going to quit doing what I am passionate about, swallow the defeat, and move on. But after talking to a few close friends today, I decided to give this a try one last time. And if you’re thinking, “Why can’t he just go get a real job?” I can and have been applying, but that will not replace my gear in a timely manner and won’t guarantee my current obligations will not be affected. Waiting for a check from the man would probably put me out of the game for a long ass fucking time.
I need help replacing a pro level camera and lens. I want to finally get insurance for ALL of my gear so that if something were to happen on the job again, it would be covered. Because let’s be honest…the types of environments I’m in while working can be pretty fucking brutal on my gear. Aka..crowd surfers, mosh pits, fumbling around for gear in the dark (cuz I’m fucking blind & ancient ya pricks), drunken bastards, and the occasional absence of a barricaded photo pit. I know that times are hard for everyone, all over the place so if you send a donation I’d really appreciate it more than you would ever know. Even if you don’t, thank you for caring enough to flip me off at shows, and read my insanely overthought babbling here.
thanks ya bunch of jerks
