Machine Head has been killing it on their livestream series, performing weekly since the start of the pandemic. The band is especially good at performing their album playthroughs and just did one for their crucial second album The More Things Change (Roadrunner) and its 25th anniversary. The performance featured original MH second guitarist Logan Mader, who was recently back in the band for the Burn My Eyes 25 World Tour. Not only did they play the full album of TMTC, but a bunch of tracks from their debut Burn My Eyes too. Unfortunately, the video got a copyright strike on YouTube for the music the band owns! Now it is back up after an appeal. You can check out our album retrospective here for its 25th anniversary. Enjoy this greatness!
The band shared a message about the video being reinstated:
After an infuriating and illegal copyright strike was placed on our livestream, blocking it worldwide for the last 2 weeks , the 25th anniversary play-thru of “The More Things Change” is back on YouTube!
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of The More Things Change, Robb and Jared are joined by OG guitar player Logan Mader, for an in-full and in correct running order play through of the band’s second album. All of the album’s tracks, like openers and live set staples “Ten Ton Hammer” and “Take My Scars”, through to album closing tracks and mega deep cuts “Blistering” and “Blood of the Zodiac” are given the Electric Happy Hour treatment in a not-to-be-missed show.
Rounding out the show, the boyz jammed through six tracks from their classic debut album, “Burn My Eyes”, making this a perfect setlist for fans of the earliest era of the band. Again, this is an Electric Happy Hour not-to-be-missed!!
Beers UP!! ????
