July 20th marked what would have been Chris Cornell’s (Soundgarden, Temple of The Dog, Audio Slave) birthday, but also the 4th anniversary of the death of Chris‘ best friend and fellow iconic singer, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park. As part of their weekly livestream, Robb Flynn and Jared MacEachern of Machine Head performed covers of Temple of the Dog’s “Hunger Strike” as well as Linkin Park’s “In The End” and “One More Light.” It was also Robb Flynn’s defacto birthday party livestream/hangout with cans so they also played MH hits, and deep cuts too.
