Montreal and Stockholm progressive metal band Voidchaser has released “Anything for Love,” the final single before their second full-length album, Interstellar I, which drops on April 9. Stream it now and pre-order below.

Interstellar I is Voidchaser’s most ambitious project to date—a dense, multi-layered wall of sound built around energetic choruses and memorable melodies, all serving a lore-rich deep space story exploring technological overreach, widespread corruption, and personal struggles with identity, love, and survival. Musically, it draws comparisons to Devin Townsend’s Ziltoid the Omniscient and Dream Theater’s Systematic Chaos, filtered through Voidchaser’s unique perspective, with roots in Deep Purple’s Machine Head and Black Sabbath’s Paranoid.
Formed in 2023, the band quickly made a name for itself, debuting with the Odyssey EP in 2024 before releasing their first full-length album, Solace a, a 30-minute concept record set in an orbital dystopia. It charted among the top metal albums on Apple Music and iTunes in Canada, Sweden, Norway, and several other countries.
In 2025, they released the Trust EP, featuring guest appearances from Jim Grey of Caligula’s Horse and members of The Anchoret, alongside their first international tour spanning twelve dates across Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden, including stops at ProgPower Europe and the inaugural ProgStorm Festival in Montreal.
Interstellar I will be performed live on April 10 at Piranha Bar in Montreal, where Voidchaser will perform the entire album plus additional material. Special guests Omnivide and Jovian Storms will also perform. More details at voidchaser.net.
