Vio-Lence Drummer and Co-Founder Perry Strickland Has Quit The Band

Vio-Lence drummer and original drummer Perry Strickland has officially quit the San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal band. He was the original drummer and one of the band’s longest-standing members. Strickland posted a video of him performing with the band on his Instagram and captioned it: “I’ll Miss playing these songs !” A fan asked Perry in the comments to clarify whether he had quit Strickland responded: “yes about a month ago”.  The band is scheduled to play at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California on February 25, followed by dates in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand in early March. The band dropped their comeback release, Let The World Burn EP, via Metal Blade Records in March 2022. The band was supposed to be working on a full-length album for future release.
