The Rolling Stones announced last month that their 25th studio album, Blue and Lonesome, would be hitting stores on December 2nd via Polydor. The record is being touted as the band’s “return to the blues,” and as you’ll hear in the ‘Hate To See You Go’ single, they weren’t lying. The album is full of ’50s-era deep cuts from the likes of Jimmy Reed, Howlin’ Wolf and Magic Sam, and this ‘Hate To See You Go’ single is one made famous by Little Walter. Enjoy the bluesy side of The Rolling Stones below, and if you’re loving it as much as I am, pre-order Blue and Lonesome today!
