Staind Reunites For Three Songs At Aaron Lewis’s Charity Benefit


Members of multi-platinum selling rock group Staind, who have been on hiatus since 2012, reunited last night at Aaron Lewis’ charity benefit show. The show which also included Corey Taylor (Stone Sour/Slipknot) and Sully Erna (Godsmack) and had tributes to both recently deceased artists Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington.

For the encore of the show Aaron Lewis was joined by Mike Mushok, Johnny April, and the last Staind drummer Sal Giancarelli performing a three-song acoustic finale that included ‘Outside’, ‘Something To Remind You’, and ‘It’s Been A While’.

 

 

 

 

The Aaron Lewis and Friends Benefit Concert will take place the night before at Pines Theater at Look Park in Northampton, Massachusetts featuring special guests Mike Mushok (Staind, Saint Asonia) and Sully Erna replacing Adam Gontier (Three Days Grace, Saint Asonia) at the last minute plus Ben Kitterman and Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour). All of the proceeds from both events will go to the nonprofit organization founded by Lewis, It Takes A Community (ITAC).
