One of the best and most righteous underground metal labels in the world, UKEM (United Kingdom Extreme Metal) known for bands such as Wolfbastard, Agrona, Deadwood Lake, Reign of Erebus, and more have been banned from their Facebook page after nine years in business. The rub seems to be over the pre-order from Viking themed metal band Sleipnir. Facebook apparently has confused the Yorkshire, UK based band with a NSBM band of the same name from thirty years ago. A simple google search shows that not only are they not the same band, but the real Sleipnir also could not be further from the other band. Still, the band is contemplating a name change even though their new album is avaialble for pre-orders. Currently, due to the pandemic, most social networks and websites have furloughed a lot of staff that normally would help moderate accounts, so a lot of pages, groups and even news stories are getting flagged and taken down by AI bots, with no recourse. Please go support the new UKEM Facebook page, support Sleipnir, truly fuck NSBM bands, Nazi’s and any other fascistic individuals or organizations. 

**URGENT UPDATE**

Hi all, this is a very important update as i had my personal account on Facebook blocked by Facebook as they have wrongly associated the band Sleipnir to have right wing political views (which couldn’t be further from the truth, they are viking metal from Yorkshire!!!) This has resulted in me getting blocked and losing the label’s Facebook page after building it up for nine long years!!!

With regards to Sleipnir, they are also having issues with Facebook and are actually considering a name change to save any more of this utter madness. Their new album is still up for pre-order under the Sleipnir name. All pre-orders received are a big FUCK OFF to Facebook for being so wrong!
