Troubled Minds hone in on their post-emo edge with “The Way Back Down.” The track has a raw yet unique sound laced with relatable lyrics. The band reflects on personal relationships creating an authentic connection with their fan-base:
“The song is about the importance of supporting your friends in their endeavors, having people’s back because you know they have yours too. I feel like I’ve ran into a lot of people who just want to take in this life with nothing to give back. That’s an example of someone I never want to be. Lines like “hope you enjoy the way back down. No one to catch your fall, no one seems to care at all,” embody that.”
Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, Troubled Minds is a band with biting edge and notable riffs. Outside of presenting relatable lyrics within their stand-out tracks, the band hones in on the importance of self-love and dedication to themselves. “We want our fans to find genuine love for themselves. We want to demonstrate the idea that working hard, staying persistent, being positive and disciplined can help people find themselves, and in return, find genuine self-love.” Says Troubled Minds on the connection between themselves and their fan-base.
