Iconic British rocker Peter Murphy kicked off the second leg of his “Stripped Tour” last night in California, with dates running the next few weeks and stretching to the east coast as well.

Murphy is on the road supporting his 2014 album Lion (Nettwerk). His group is performing as a trio with his longtime collaborators, guitarist John Andrews and bassist/electric-violinist Emilio “Zef” China. The Stripped Tour spans the all of Murphy’s material, including his solo albums, his classic Bauhaus works, as well as some covers.

Murphy is planning to release a live album from the initial U.S. tour on Metropolis Records in the new year. More information on that release coming soon.
