TikTok Shuts Down All Accounts In The USA


The TikTok Ban in the USA went into effect at approximately 10:30 PM Eastern time on January 18th, 2024, just ahead of the Ban on the Network originally signed into an executive order by President Trump and upheld by the Supreme Court on Friday. No users can use the network and you are shown a message telling users in the USA their service is suspended “but they are working on a solution.” It say7s you can login to access your information and content, but users are reporting you cannot. Other Chinese-owned apps such as CapCut and Lemon8 are also unavailable. Launched by Chinese company ByteDance in 2016. TikTok was the number one most-downloaded app in 2021 and a top 5 app in 2022-2024.
